Laurie McClain
Legal Nurse Consultant
As a registered nurse for more than 20 years, licensed in both Florida and South Carolina, Laurie McClain has extensive experience in a variety of positions within the hospital setting. She has taken numerous certification courses including critical care and rehabilitation nursing. Laurie has been a legal nurse consultant for both plaintiff and defense law firms in Miami and South Carolina. She has attended one of the only educational centers in the country offering licensure in Health Care Risk Management and became licensed through the State of Florida. She has sat on several non-profit charity boards including the Shane Family Foundation for Education. Prior to leaving Florida, Laurie was a member of a specialized committee for nursing education as part of the Miami Dade County Board of Education. Laurie has a strong commitment to quality care, ethics, and patient's rights. Her desire for accountability to improve medical care is what has led her to the Christian and Davis team. She brings a wealth of experience and education to our firm's medical malpractice and nursing home litigation practice.
